When you give, you're not just supporting a cause — you're directly changing the life of a person living with a disability. Every dollar goes toward providing the tools, training, and support needed to build life-changing partnerships between service dogs and their handlers.

We rely on your generosity to purchase essential supplies: specialized training gear like leads, vests, and collars tailored to each team's needs. Training also requires countless treats, toys, clickers, and other motivators — small items that make a huge impact in shaping a dog’s skills.

But it's not just about the dogs

We also provide access to medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and switchboards to simulate real-life scenarios during training. And like any organization, we face ongoing costs — rent, insurance, legal compliance, and other overhead expenses that keep our programs running.

None of this is possible without your help. We’re committed to offering this service at no cost to the people who need it most — but we can only do that with your support.

If you’re passionate about making a difference and want to offer hands-on support, we’d love to have you on our team!

We’re currently seeking new Board Members and Committee Volunteers to support key areas such as marketing, sales, fundraising, and legal affairs. This is a great opportunity to bring your professional skills to a cause that matters.

Prefer a more direct, hands-on role? Our greatest need right now is for Dog Trainers. If you enjoy working with dogs and people with disabilities, this role could be a perfect fit for you.

Short on time but still want to help? We also need weekly volunteers for cleaning—not just our facility, but also our storage rooms and merchandise trailer.

Our Mission

4 Paws 4 A Cause exists to provide a FREE comprehensive Service Dog Training program to people 18 and over with a disability. Handlers learn the skills necessary to tailor their Service Dog to their needs. All this is possible through a 501c3 in South Central Pennsylvania.
